Stichting StartersCentrum Limburg is an independent foundation subsidised by participating municipalities in the province of Limburg. For starters and entrepreneurs from the partner municipalities, our services are free of charge. Participants in the StartersCentrum projects can also take part free of charge. The StartersCentrum is created to advise and support starting entrepreneurs in setting up their own business.
You're bursting with enthusiasm about your business idea, now what? How do you get customers? Do you need a business plan? What about taxes? Should you register at the Chamber of Commerce right away? What is a good hourly rate? In short, what do you have to deal with if you want to start your own business or have already started? The StartersCentrum Limburg can help you personally. Experience shows that those who start well-prepared have a better chance of success. That is why you can book free group meetings and 1-on-1 interviews and participate in networking events. It doesn't matter whether your idea was just born, you already have quite a few customers or you have been working for years and want to change tack, the StartersCentre is the start of a good business.
Who are we there for?
All our seminars and Startersevents are free for everyone in Limburg, regardless of your stage as an entrepreneur. If you come from one of our subsidising municipalities, you can also book one or more 1-on-1 consultations with one of our experienced entrepreneurial advisers free of charge. From 2026, you can attend a Growth Event for a small investment, where you will go in-depth with inspiring experts from entrepreneurial practice.
All our seminars and Starter Events are free for everyone in Limburg, no matter what stage you are at as an entrepreneur.
The UWV, Social Services, education, municipalities, the Entrepreneurial Sounding Board (OKB), the House for the Arts. Together with numerous network partners, we provide an environment in which starting up is good and healthy. For example, anyone who wants to start from benefit can come to us quickly and easily. On request, we give information sessions in educational institutions, among others, and send people for intensive guidance by experts - including especially creative entrepreneurs. Through the media, we spread entrepreneurial stories by putting start-ups in the picture. And with our annual contributions to award ceremonies, such as the Brilliant Business Awards and Maastricht Awards, we celebrate entrepreneurship.
