Projects
In addition to information meetings and personal consultations, the StartersCentrum is also involved in projects that stimulate entrepreneurship
These projects are developed and implemented in collaboration with and at the request of local governments and educational institutions. We handle both project management and project implementation.

Project
Project Space for Entrepreneurship – Municipality of Heerlen
This project is intended for (starting) entrepreneurs who want to open a shop, a catering business, or a service company in the city centers of Heerlen-Centrum, Hoensbroek-Centrum, Heerlerheide-Centrum, or Heerlerbaan-De Bautsch. You may be eligible for a €6,000 subsidy. The StartersCentrum is responsible for assessing the applications. The subsidy itself can be applied for at the Subsidy for new entrepreneurship | Municipality of Heerlen.

Project Incentive Scheme for Neighborhood Shopping Areas – Municipality of Kerkrade
This project aims to promote the entrepreneurial climate in Kerkrade's neighborhood shopping areas. If you, as a (starting) entrepreneur, want to open a shop in one of the designated shopping areas, you may be eligible for a grant of up to €10,000. The StartersCentrum is responsible for assessing the applications. The subsidy itself can be applied for at Incentive Scheme for Neighborhood Shopping Areas Kerkrade | Municipality of Kerkrade.

In 2024 en 2025 organiseerden wij met Qredits 3 maal een 4 maanden durend opleidingsprogramma voor statushouders. Hierin worden nieuwe landgenoten intensief voorbereid op de start van een nieuwe onderneming in Limburg. Via een professioneel trainingsprogramma zijn de deelnemers klaar gestoomd voor de start. In 2026 verwachten wij een aantal nieuwe ondernemersscholen te mogen uitvoeren. Belangstellenden met de juiste achtergrond (statushouder met een minimale B1 beheersing van onze taal) kunnen zich nu al melden via onze contact page. We will then contact you for an intake interview.
